About Gallia County Rural Water

Gallia County Rural Water is a water supply company serving 19 townships. Mainly our services are in Gallia County with extensions into Meigs, Vinton, Lawrence and Jackson Counties. We have approximately 700 miles of main line from 2″ to 16″ diameter pipes covering an area of 500 square miles. 10,200 taps are installed across these mains. We are governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the membership of our water system each year at the annual July meeting.
